Solly’s Latkes was born in 2022 when Solly’s granddaughter started selling frozen homemade latkes out of local bookstores and coffee shops during the holiday season. She named the pop-up for Sol (1927-2021), her original latke teacher. The youngest of eight, Solly grew up by his mother’s side and learned her recipes from a young age. A lover of shlepping furniture, cake for breakfast, and food so hot it burnt his mouth - Solly was, more importantly, a true mensch. We know he would be getting a huge kick out of sharing his latkes with all of you.
